Located approximately (gotta say approximately because of traffic) 1 hr 20min from downtown Panama City, you'll head up into the cloud forest of Cerro Azul above the city. You'll be ripping down muddy hills, through ponds, and jungle - this is a must do if you're looking for some thrills. Description
Up early, we pick the group up by 9am because it is a 2 hour drive out of the city up the mountain to El Valle de Anton, an inactive volcano where the hike begins. Hiking up from the town, you’ll be engulfed in jungle, waterfalls, indigenous hieroglyphs, and breathtaking views as you scale the ridge to the peak. After the hike you can grab lunch in the town and hit up the local market or just get some rest on the ride down the mountain. If your group is active and likes the outdoors, then this is perfect for you.
